Happy Turkey Day, my American friends! I am thankful to have had the chance to get to know some of you through your insightful posts and I’m looking forward to getting to know you all better. I’ve learned a lot about the craft of writing, publishing options, the troubles writers face, your joys, frustrations and accomplishments. I’ve also met a lot of crafty people who have inspired me. Thanks!

Hope you all enjoy your holiday!

  1. Thanks, Susan.

One of the things I’m thankful for is, my copy of WITHERSHINS finally showed up. That hold-up in customs for printed materials to make their way to the States finally released the book; looking to get a start on it over the weekend.

    • Thanks, Kathy. We actually had our Thanksgiving last month, but I appreciate the sentiment. It was very nice, spent with all my French in-laws. We had fun watching all the little ones running around and meeting our newest niece. 🙂

  2. Pooh. I didn’t get to cook this year.

My sister has to make a big deal out of having her town desolated by Hurricane Sandy and decides to steal my Thanksgiving. No Leftovers for me. No fair!

(That was a joke, if you didn’t get it) Acutally, it was very eye-opening to go home and see so much wreckage and destruction. We are truely thankful that my sister and her family are safe, and her home is still standing with such horror all around her. She, and we, have a lot to be thankful for.
